First Time Guide

If it's your first classical music concert, we've got you covered!

🌟Casual Dress is A-OK! Wear what makes you comfortable so you can fully enjoy the music. If you want to wear something fancier, that’s fine too!

🤫 Silent, please! Classical concerts are all about the music, so be sure to turn your phone to silent and avoid talking during the performance.

👏👏👏 Applaud when you love what you hear! Don't worry about the "correct" time. We love and appreciate your enthusiasm! (*If you're really curious though, read on to the end!)

🕰️ Take your time, and arrive a little early to find your seat and settle in. Take photos before & after the concert, and tag us on Instagram/Facebook!

❤️ Come say hello! If there’s a reception afterwards, we’d love to meet you!

Remember, there's no right or wrong way to experience classical music. Just be open to the music, and you're sure to have a wonderful time. 🎼 Enjoy the concert!

* If the piece has multiple movements (like a symphony), the audience usually claps at the end of the last movement. But if you feel moved, we appreciate your enthusiasm to clap in between movements! If you're unsure, just follow the lead of those around you. You'll catch on quickly! Side note: you can also clap when the concertmaster takes the stage to tune and when the conductor comes out!
