The mission of the Connecticut Symphony Orchestra is to provide opportunities for advanced musicians and emerging professionals to perform a high level of repertoire while engaging and collaborating with diverse communities in mutual growth through the joy of making music.
Support has been provided to CSO from CT Humanities, CT State Department of Economic and Community Development/CT Office of the Arts from the CT State Legislature.
With these generous grants, the CSO has been able to keep our doors open and return to our concert schedule, post-covid! We remain committed to our mission to provide affordable, high-quality classical music performances to our audiences in the Greater Hartford area.
