Meet the Musician Monday - Lisa Naples

What year did you join the CSO: 2024

Tell us about your music: I've been playing my instrument for about four years now. Playing an instrument was offered in 4th grade in my school district, so that's when I started. My brother played violin in high school at the time and I wanted to be just like him and be able to play all his high school music with him. I rented a school instrument and started teaching myself how to play with online violin tabs. Going into middle school, I started violin lessons with an amazing teacher, Lisa Rautenberg. She helped me fix all the bad habits I made when teaching myself and has just helped me improve my playing so much.

What do you like to do outside of music: I love playing tennis, baking, and studying music theory.
